PROCTORING OF THE CST EXAM (LEVELS I, II, AND III)

PLAT E-RECORDING MILESTONE

May marked a milestone for eRecording in North Carolina. 90 counties (covering over 98% of the state's population) are now doing some form of electronic recording of documents, and with the recent addition of Cabarrus, Craven, and Onslow Counties, 1/3 of those RODs (30 counties) are now ready to accept plats electronically! Click Here for Map

Rich Elkins with the Secretary of State's Land Records Management Division will be conducting a virtual training for surveyors during the month of June (date TBA) and will be speaking to the Coastal Chapter at their June monthly meeting. He's available to schedule in-person or virtual trainings for surveyors (at chapter meetings or otherwise) or for local government personnel who are interested in starting to e-Record maps.
