Focusing on a surveyor in the courtroom, discussion of past boundary cases, and a time of questions and answers, all from the unique perspective of an attorney/surveyor. Instructor: James J. Demma is an attorney with Miles & Stockbridge and has practiced law in Montgomery County, Maryland, for over 30 years. He has extensive practice dealing with boundary disputes, easements, real estate contracts, titles, conveyancing, title insurance, land patents, boundary disputes, quiet title actions, and condominium developments. He is also a registered land surveyor in the State of Maryland. He has supervised and conducted over 10,000 real estate settlements for residential, commercial, and industrial properties in Maryland and Washington, D.C., including the review of title examinations for those properties.
